Melody loves teaching all levels and ages of students! She is traditionally trained, and has played many different styles of music. She is naturally understanding and great at helping students love the harp and play beautifully!
A little bit about Melody:
Melody recently graduated from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University where she earned a masters degree in harp performance. During her time in Chicago, Melody worked with Professor Marguerite Lynn Williams of the Minnesota Symphony.
In May 2020, Melody graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in harp performance. She was the first (and only) harpist to win the university’s concerto competition and perform her concerto with the University of Utah Philharmonia under the direction of Dr. Robert Baldwin. She also was privileged to perform a concerto with the Wasatch Symphony in the spring of 2020.
Besides university studies, Melody has experience performing for many events in her community.
