Jackie maintains an active studio of all ages & levels on a variety of instruments in Riverton. In addition to her private studio she has taught orchestra & general music with guitar, choir, & band in the schools to well over 3000 students. She is currently seeking Suzuki teacher training on bass, voice, piano, & guitar after completing all unit course training on violin, viola, & cello. She specializes in starting students & helping them reach their goals excelling as leaders & performers in ensembles. In addition to her current registered training, she has completed Orff & Kodaly certification training for her Level 2 Music Teaching License (K-12) studying with world class Hungarian experts in the field of music. She was a member of the Orchestra at Temple Square (adjunct to the Tabernacle Choir) as a violinist for 18 years, & has performed extensively as a soloist & in orchestras & choirs all of her life. For her masters, she conducted experimental research with music in an NICU.
