Debora has openings for new students in her beautiful SLC studio

More Information

Debora began Suzuki violin studies at age four with Max Mandel, concertmaster of the Phoenix Symphony. She teaches from the heart and enjoys connecting with her students. Above all, playing music should be fun!

Debora continued her Suzuki studies with the venerable Ruth Johnson, founding conductor of the Chapel Hill Philharmonia. She then studied violin performance with Donna Fairbanks, PhD, culminating in a B.A. with Honors at BYU.

She has played in orchestras and ensembles since childhood, including the UC, San Francisco orchestra, and at the prestigious Governor’s School in North Carolina.

Debora teaches many styles including classical, jazz, rock, folk and fiddle. She has played in ensembles for 25 years, recording and performing in such venues as the Capitol Theatre during the 2002 Olympics, and opening night at Sundance Film Festival.

Positive performance experiences and fun group lessons are included in her studio package.
