Dr. Bednarz is a performing artist, soloist with orchestras, chamber and orchestral musician, as well as conductor (Associate Conductor of Utah Valley Symphony and Utah Valley Youth Symphony). Originally from Poland, Bednarz has performed widely in Europe, Asia and North America. She has played with the Utah Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Boston Orchestra Project, among others. She performs at the Park City Chamber Music Festival, with artists such as Stephanie Chase, Russell Harlow, John Novacek, Jeffrrey Solow, etc. She teaches violin and chamber music at the University of Utah, violin at the Gifted Music School, and violin and viola privately. She also helps students prepare for college and other types of auditions. She accepts intermediate and advanced students, age 12+ (exceptionally younger advanced). Matthew Bengtson and Blanka Bednarz's CD, Karol Szymanowski: Music for Violin/Piano; Piano Solo (2017, Musica Omnia) was awarded a Global Music Awards Silver Medal.
