Autumn Wood is a dedicated and enthusiastic violin and viola instructor focused on building musical skills alongside personal confidence and a deep love for music. Autumn brings a nurturing, enthusiastic presence to her lessons, helping students of all backgrounds develop strong foundations and creative expression.
Autumn is currently the Director of Orchestras at Oquirrh Hills Middle School and has previously taught at MWSA and Monticello Academy. She regularly leads clinics at schools throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
As a performer, Autumn has appeared in numerous solo and ensemble settings. Highlights include performances of Amy Beach’s Violin Sonata and Dvořák’s Bass Quintet (on viola), as well as playing with the Utah Philharmonic under the direction of Dr. Robert Baldwin.
Autumn holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Utah, where she studied violin with Dr. Blanka Bednarz and chamber music with Dr. Hasse Borup and David Yavornitzky
