At Valentine Violin I teach from a variety of methods to teach students proper posture, technique, note-reading and theory, and performance skills.
I prioritize teaching my students sustainable practice habits that will serve them for their entire lives regardless of their end goal as a musician!
My students embrace the challenges of playing a stringed instrument and value progress over perfection, and learn to perform to share their hard work with the world (even when it’s a little scary!).
I believe every student is capable of learning the violin, and I enjoy teaching students who live with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and other learning differences.
